Main labeling & packaging requirements
- Neutral packaging plus a required information leaflet
- Strain or variety name
- Net weight or volume
- Packaging, harvest or production date
- Best-before or expiry date
- THC and CBD content (per package and, where relevant, per serving)
- Mandatory health warning statements (use the exact, current official wording)
- Patient, prescriber and dispensing-pharmacy label details for prescribed products
- Associations hand out cannabis in neutral packaging with an information leaflet — branded retail packaging is not the model.
